John Scott at the restored Kilgen organ of
Our Lady of Refuge Church, Brooklyn


John Scott, longtime master of music at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, and more recently director of music at St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue, New York, has passed away on August 12, at the age of 59.  In the summer of 2008, John Scott directed the Montreal Boys’ Choir Course and conducted the Boys’ Choir at Christ Church Cathedral on August 3, 2008, the 12th Sunday after Pentecost.
